March brings even more live music to Victoria Concert Hall with multiple tribute concerts throughout the month. Performances include Sound of Sting (Sting & The Police), Always ABBA, It’s Too Late to Stop Now (Van Morrison), Hells Bells (AC/DC), and Fresh Horses (Garth Brooks). A month-long celebration of legendary music.

Begin with tea service and a selection of sweet and savoury bites. Then create a kitchen-ready herb planter featuring three 4.5” organic herbs in an upcycled container, choosing from basil, dill, oregano, parsley, rosemary, sage or thyme. Guests will also craft three personalized essential oil rollers blended into nourishing sunflower oil to take home.

Create framed pressed-flower artwork using a curated collection of preserved blooms, and blend your own botanical salt soak, crafting three individual glass test tubes to take home.

Participants will learn simple hand-building techniques to create their own unique pottery piece. During the break, guests will also have the chance to step outside and meet some friendly alpacas — and even feed them apples.
This special workshop is a wonderful way to connect with nature, get creative, and spend meaningful time together in a rustic countryside environment.

- Warblers & Whimbrels Weekend at Presqu'ile Provincial Park
May 16th & 17th, 2026
This weekend celebrates the spring migration of the songbirds and the shorebirds as they make their annual migration north. This weekend is aimed at those just starting out as birders or those who would like to learn more about the birds in the Park. Naturalist led bird walks take place at 6:30am, 10:00am and 2:00pm both days. Join the Friends of Presqu’ile Park for a BBQ lunch fundraiser at the Lighthouse Centre. A full schedule of events will be posted on our website and Facebook pages closer to the event.
All events are free with park admission.

- Warkworth Lilac Festival

Warkworth, a unique rural and sophisticated town, is situated in the beautiful rolling hills of the Municipality of Trent Hills and is host to the Warkworth Lilac Festival. Warkworth is just 90 minutes east of Toronto, 40 minutes south-east of Peterborough and 80 minutes west of Kingston. The Warkworth Lilac Festival is an annual event that takes place on the Millennium Lilac Trail on the last weekend of May. The Lilac Festival attracts a multitude of visitors to the Millennium Lilac Trail and to Warkworth from all over the province. Many rare and beautiful lilacs of unique varieties have been planted strategically in beds along the trail, turning it into a showcase of lilacs for all to delight in. In 2022 the Lilac Festival introduced the ‘Avalanche’ double-white lilac, created in honour of the Queen’s 70th Platinum Jubilee. In 2017 the festival was honoured to receive a Canada 150 Garden Experience Award. Festivities on the Lilac Trail include activities for the entire family as well as the gardener and lilac enthusiast, including a variety of vendors, children’s activities, musicians and food service.
